Complementary Therapies
Treatments used alongside conventional medicine that may help ease symptoms such as stress, anxiety, pain, muscle tension and encourage relaxation. Therapists do not diagnose or claim to cure.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a gentle, relaxing or invigorating massage of the back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face.
It is a versatile massage that is great for wellbeing events, workplace therapy days and as an introduction to massage. You can also choose to have more work done on specific areas rather than have the full treatment – Back, neck and shoulders; arms & hands or head and face…
You may lie on a massage bed, sit on a low back chair, therapy ball or massage chair. You can remain fully clothed or remove your top to have a bespoke blend of carrier oils applied. You can also have warm oil poured on to your hair for a luxury experience.
Indian Head Massage may help with headache/migraine; muscle aches and tension; TMJ; stress, depression and anxiety; sleep issues; balance issues etc.
I am also trained in Indian Head Massage for Pregnancy and Functional Indian Head Massage for Mental Health and offer couples or parent/carer workshops where you learn techniques to use at home.

Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Therapy)
An ancient therapy used by the North American Hopi tribe.
You lie on a massage bed during treatment, on one side, the other side then your back.
Linen ‘candles’ impregnated with beeswax and essential oils are lit and placed in each ear in turn. You will feel warmth and hear crackling. The warmth and vibration helps to loosen any blockages and encourage the ears to self clean. We finish with an acupressure face massage and reiki to enhance the effects of treatment.
Can be used before and after flying, for balance issues, sinus issues, headache/migraine and ear conditions eg. glue ear, labrynthitis, Menieure’s etc.
N.B grommets, perforated ear drum and active infection are contraindicated for treatment.
